Vaughn Towers was built to replace the outdated press box and provide upgraded seating for Carter-Finley Stadium.
New public restrooms, ticketing, concessions, a commercial catering kitchen, and first aid facilities are located at the concourse level. The four additional stories above the concourse provide 1,000 club seats and 52 private box suites, as well as state-of-the-art facilities for press, television production, and game day operations. The 116,000-square foot facility was completed in phases in time for the start of the football season.
