The renovation of one of North Carolina State’s nine hallowed places gave new life to this multi-purpose athletic facility.
Reynolds Coliseum has been transformed into an attractive arena venue, a highly functioning office and classroom building, a valuable recruiting tool, and an opportunity to showcase the achievements and history of Wolfpack Athletics. The size of the arena was reduced to create an intimate athletic venue with good sightlines at all seats. System updates included air conditioning, sprinklers and new elevators to connect all levels. The fan experience was improved with larger public circulation areas at both the concourse and event levels, additional restrooms and more concession areas. A new Walk of Fame and History exhibit was developed which begins in the new Grand Hall and is incorporated throughout all of the public spaces in the building.
