A new eight-lane NCAA Track & Field Complex was constructed as part of a multi-phase series of projects designed to improve the Olympic Sports facilities at East Carolina University.
The complex was sited to minimize the amount of cut and fill required to create a level surface, as well as to protect a historic stand of trees nearby. An 1,800 square foot storage building is located adjacent to the track to house maintenance equipment and competition apparatus.
