The Student Recreation Center (SRC) anchors the west end of the ECU campus greenway and provides valuable space for student activities.
The 150,000 square foot Student Recreation Center includes a three-court gymnasium area with a large climbing wall, an aerobics room, a weight training and fitness room, a 50-meter swimming pool with a diving well and space for student offices and clubs. The exterior of the center recalls the brick masonry architecture of the existing campus buildings helping to tie the campus together. The interior of the center combines openess, natural lighting and color to create an inviting environment for meeting the school’s goal of “building for a healthy lifestyle.”
