The Transportation Department accommodates the operations and maintenance of a fleet of 150 town buses and other vehicles.
The facility relocates and consolidates the Transportation Department on about 30 acres. The 55,000sf complex consists of one main building and two outbuildings housing a bus washing facility and a fueling station. A variety of sustainable features were implemented to conserve resources, reduce energy usage and protect the environment including a geothermal heating and air conditioning system and natural daylighting strategies.
